jenny & i had the awesome privilege of attending our new friend, Judith, baby shower, she was our “barefoot” spanish teacher. she is a Tica, and we were thrilled when she invited us to her shower. jenny & i were told that the party started at 1:00pm, and yes we were the first to arrive, can’t help it, we’re gringas! we got there at 1:20, and the party didn’t start until 3:15 and we didn’t get home until almost 7:00pm, so needless to say, jenny and i got to know each other more…dave & john get the dad of the day award for taking care of the kids! there were about 50 + women, playing games, eating great food & we watched judith open her presents. it reminded me of back home (california), so i got a little home sick for all my aunties, cousins, etc. the love that was put into the shower, all the decorations were all put together by family members. it was a great time!

I am happy you had a great time at the baby shower, sounds like our family a big party for any ocation along with good food. Yes being away at these time does make one home sick. Dad put your wedding viedo and we felt a big loss with grandma no longer with us and you not hear with us. Your so far away. Dad and I had tears and we turn off the viedo off happy times and happy memories but now your there and we miss you dearly. Will talk later love mom xo
